Greenville, South Carolina.The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating a gunshot that occurred in Greenville County on Sunday night that injured a woman when gunfire came into her apartment.
Deputies confirmed that the woman was shot while inside her home on Fleetwood Drive at approximately 9:30 p.m. It is unclear where the rounds originated from and who was involved because investigators claim the real shooting did not come from within the flat.
Victim Recovering, Investigation Ongoing
According to authorities, the woman was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment after suffering non-life-threatening injuries. Although deputies have not yet named any suspects in the case, she is anticipated to recover.
