#6 Wesleyan 45, #5 Commerce 27

Wesleyan established a 7-0 lead at the end of the first quarter following a lengthy lightning delay before play began. Late in the game, Essien Lockleer caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Bryson.

Franklin County 14, Chestatee 7 (OT)

At the end of the third, Keyes Harbin scored a touchdown that tied the score. The game went into overtime when a field goal attempt was missed at the end of regulation. From there, Franklin County opened with an exciting victory after a 25-yard touchdown throw from the Lions and a Chestatee fumble.
