Suspect Used Vehicle to Breach Storefront
The Greenville Police Department reports that the incident occurred at 600 S. Main Street, Suite 100, at approximately 3:40 a.m. According to investigators, a car that was thought to be a truck crashed straight into the front of the Lululemon store, seriously damaging the entrance before entering.
Once inside, the suspect stole a number of items, though authorities have not yet made public all the specifics of what was taken.
No Arrests Yet; Police Say Investigation Is Ongoing
Neither a suspect nor an arrest has been made as of Tuesday afternoon. According to the Greenville Police Department, the situation is still being investigated.
The vehicle involved was a truck, according to someone who was on the site assisting with building security, as reported by WYFF News 4. He claimed that after watching security footage, it seemed the suspect was aiming for the cash register rather than stealing clothes items.
