Atlanta, Georgia.Early on Wednesday morning, a serious collision on GA-400 northbound close to the North Springs MARTA Station wounded multiple individuals and caused significant delays for commuters.

Chain-Reaction Crash

The crash happened north of the Abernathy Road/Dunwoody Road exit shortly after six in the morning, according to Sandy Springs police. Six to seven automobiles were involved in the collision, which the officers described as a chain reaction.

At least two or three individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for medical care. One person suffered a broken leg.

Traffic Impact

At first, the collision blocked all GA-400 northbound lanes. Police reopened three lanes by 7:30 a.m., but morning commuters had to avoid the incident site due to miles-long traffic jams.

Hours later, as authorities cleared the road, one of the cars was still there.
