DEKALB COUNTY, GA. Two individuals are being sought by authorities in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday afternoon behind a Checkers restaurant in DeKalb County. Louis Allen, 39, was the victim who was discovered unconscious in an alley behind the eatery.
Victim Found Behind Glenwood Road Checkers
Just after 3 p.m., police arrived to the 4000 block of Glenwood Road, where Allen’s body was found behind the fast-food restaurant. The alley right behind the Checkers is where investigators believe the event occurred.
Surveillance Footage Reveals Clues
According to authorities, two males thought to be engaged in the shooting were caught on security footage from surrounding businesses. Police made pictures of the suspects public, but they did not provide their names.
The men were observed driving a blue and silver Volkswagen Jetta to and from the area. Investigators found that the car had a cracked windshield and a taped-up paper tagreading tag.
Suspects Remain At Large
The suspects are still at large as of right moment. The public is being asked to assist DeKalb County Police in identifying and tracking down the people who were caught on camera.
Authorities stated that the investigation is still ongoing and that public leads may be very important.
