Gridiron Preview: Jefferson Dragons

Published On:

The Dragons’ incredible season concluded in the Mercedes just how any team would like it to. Even though several of the squad’s major players are no longer on the roster, such as Florida State quarterback Gavin Markey, Max Brown, a recent Clemson recruit, and a few others challenge the notion that this team is incapable of doing the same.

Strengths & Areas of Focus

Strengths: Several players who acquired experience playing in key games during the season, such as the state championship game, are returning. Specifically, the offensive line returns two tight ends and three starters who were key players on the offense the previous season.

Priorities: We have made a concerted effort to increase depth at positions on both sides of the ball during the offseason. We need as many players as possible to be available to fill in at any time during the lengthy season.
