Carnes Creek Fire Department, with support from Stations 1 and 4, Stephens County EMS, and the Stephens County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a residential structure fire in the 1300 block of Shady Lane early Tuesday morning.
Crews arrived to find an active blaze and quickly worked to bring it under control. Officials stated that as of 2:43 a.m., the fire was contained and in the mop-up stage. No injuries have been reported.
Shady Lane was shut down during the response and has since reopened.
Now Habersham has reached out to authorities for additional information as the investigation continues.
