Search Continues for Georgia Teen Missing for Over a Year

CUMMING, Georgia.A Georgia girl who has been missing for almost a year is still being sought for by authorities and advocacy organizations.

The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) reports that on August 15, 2024, 17-year-old Isaiah Jesus Rico went missing from the Cumming region.

Disappearance Details

According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Officer, Rico was last seen while in the Department of Children and Family Services’ custody at a hotel. Officials speculate that he may have visited the Clayton County region since then.

Description of Missing Teen

    5 feet, 10 inches

  • Weight:

    160 pounds

  • Hair:

    Brown, possibly dyed

  • Eyes:

    Blue

  • Distinguishing features:

    Multiple tattoos on his face, arm, and hand
