Janesville, Wisconsin.According to WMTV 15 News, a 29-year-old Janesville man was taken into custody after he allegedly traveled to North Carolina and returned to his Wisconsin residence with a juvenile girl.
Arrest Follows Multi-State Investigation
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office in North Carolina notified the Jacksonville Police Department (JPD) of the suspect’s journey, which led to the incident’s discovery. JPD installed surveillance at the man’s residence after receiving the report.
The suspect and the child were seen by officers getting into a car parked in his driveway. Police arrived shortly after and took him into custody without any problems.
Charges and Custody
Investigators collected more evidence after securing a search warrant for the man’s home. The suspect was taken to the Rock County Jail and is being charged with several offenses, such as:

Child Enticement

Sexual Intercourse with a Child Over 16
The adolescent girl was securely returned to her dad.
Next Steps in the Case
