Georgetown County Deputy Detains North Carolina Man Accused of Killing His Wife

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SCA Authorities said Friday afternoon that a North Carolina man accused of killing his wife was arrested following a routine traffic stop in Georgetown County.

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office arrested David Snow, 61, of Castle Hayne, North Carolina, late Thursday night when deputies found and stopped his car at 9:30 p.m. on Ocean Highway close to Vanderbilt Boulevard.


Murder Suspect Awaiting Extradition

Snow, who is being held at the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office rather than the county jail center while authorities from his home state prepare to get him, is wanted for murder in North Carolina, according to officials.

When he returns to North Carolina, he is anticipated to be charged with murder. Investigators have not disclosed any other details regarding the suspected killing, such as the time or location of the incident.
