North CarolinaA 76-year-old man was discovered dead in the driveway of his house just south of Rockwell on Friday morning, prompting Cabarrus County authorities to begin an investigation into a terrible crime.
At approximately 10 a.m., deputies responded to a 911 call indicating that someone was not responding at a residence on Emanuel Road, according to the Cabarrus County Sheriff’s Office. Ralph Eudy had been shot numerous times, and his body was found when police arrived on the scene.
Victim s Truck Missing, Investigators Seek Public s Help
Authorities suspect that Eudy’s 2012 white Chevrolet Colorado is missing from the site. The car is registered under the North Carolina license plate ZV9249 and has a visible stain on the tailgate.
Social media users have reportedly reported to detectives that they saw a silver four-door car, probably a Dodge Intrepid, in the vicinity at the time of the event. Investigators have not yet linked the car or its driver to the crime, and the vehicle’s tag number is unclear. To find out if the driver may have seen or heard anything pertinent, investigators say they would like to speak with them.
