Winston-Salem, North Carolina.Local authorities launched a homicide investigation after a 62-year-old man was shot and killed in Winston-Salem on Tuesday night.


Police Respond to Late-Night Shooting on Gregory Street

The incident happened in the 300 block of Gregory Street just before 10 p.m., according to Winston-Salem police. Officers found 62-year-old Marco Antonio Salazar Cano with several gunshot wounds after responding to a shooting incident.

Cano was swiftly taken by emergency care services to a neighboring hospital. Sadly, he passed away from his wounds not long after arriving.
